Justin Reed is a lifelong resident of the Town of Wallkill’s Fourth Ward whose values include a strong commitment to community, fiscal responsibility, and thoughtful leadership. Justin has witnessed the growth and transformation of Wallkill during his lifetime and welcomes the challenge of earning a seat on the Town Board this November to help the town continue to prosper.

Professional Experience

Professionally, Justin has built a successful career spanning close to 15 years with IBM, where he has held numerous financial leadership positions across multiple global finance and operations divisions. Beginning as an intern in 2012, he advanced steadily through expanded roles in financial planning, revenue forecasting, expense management, and treasury. He currently serves as IBM’s Global Accounts Receivables Cash Flow Leader, overseeing critical financial processes and helping guide strategic business decisions for one of the world’s largest technology organizations.

Education & Community

A graduate of Middletown High School (2009), Justin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with honors (Cum Laude), from Iona University’s LaPenta School of Business in 2013. He remains engaged with his alma mater by serving on its Department of Finance, Business Economics, and Legal Studies Advisory Board, and previously served as a finance recruiter helping place Iona students in internships at IBM.

Justin is seeking a seat on the Town Board because he believes local government works best when it is transparent, fiscally responsible, and focused on delivering results for residents. He is committed to applying his professional experience, financial expertise, and lifelong understanding of the Town of Wallkill to help ensure a strong future for the community he proudly calls home.
